  • Offering a 25% discount to towns, municipalities or resellers making large purchases.

Products & Pricing

SolarChristmasLights.com carries approximately 11 different solar Christmas lights, including string lights, icicle lights, net lights and rope lights — all in varying colors. The lights actually come from one of two brands / manufacturers, New Ray or Flipo.

New Ray Solar Christmas Lights

The common features of all the New Ray solar lights are:

  • A small solar panel which can be mounted or inserted into a plastic stake that anchors into the ground;
  • 2 light modes, steady or blinking, controlled via a switch on the back of the solar panel;
  • An extra 6 feet of string for flexibility when locating the solar panel for optimal sun exposure;
  • AA rechargeable batteries which are recharged by the solar panel during the daylight. When fully charged, the Christmas lights will stay illuminated up to 8 hours;
  • A light sensor that automatically turns the lights on at dusk.

New Ray White String Solar Christmas Lights
(100 Bulbs, String Length = 32 Feet:  $32)
(50 Bulbs, String Length = 16 Feet:  $18)
While advertised as “white”, the LED bulbs actually create a pinpoint of white light that has the blue tint associated with LED type light bulbs. In total darkness, the lights are quite visible but you can definitely notice the blue-ish hue.

New Ray Multi-Color Solar Christmas Lights
(100 Bulbs, String Length = 32 Feet:  $32)
(50 Bulbs, String Length = 16 Feet:  $18)
Alternating red, green, yellow, blue and white LED lights which can be used either indoors or outdoors, these solar string lights are very easy to set up. The only downside is that you cannot string these holiday lights together as each has their own attached solar panel.

New Ray White Net Solar Christmas Lights
(100 Bulbs, Size = 4 x 3 Feet:  $18)
Easy to install, since the solar net can be stretched over a bush or small tree approximately 5’ x 4’. Solar net lights require no maintenance other than hanging them and turning the solar panels toward the sun. As soon as it gets dark, they turn on automatically and provide about four to six hours of light.

Flipo Solar String Lights

The common features of the Flipo solar Christmas lights are:

  • A weather resistant electronic box containing the solar panel and the AA NI-HM rechargeable batteries which last for about 500 recharges;
  • A flat mounting bracket with a connector, ground tube and pointed stake to drive into the ground;
  • A blinking mode selector that includes 6 different flashing sequences;
  • An extra 9 feet of lead string for flexibility when locating the solar panel and;
  • Super bright LEDs rated at over 100,000 hours of light.

Flipo Warm White Solar Christmas Lights
(100 Bulbs, String Length = 32 Feet:  $32)
(50 Bulbs, String Length = 16 Feet:  $18)
Unlike the New Ray White Solar Christmas Lights, these lights emit a warmer softer glow so they feel more like traditional lights. We here at Solarsons Media had the opportunity to conduct an in-depth review of the Flipo Solar LED String Lights. Watch our consumer panelist video for more details.

Flipo Warm Rope Solar Lights
(102 Bulbs, Rope Length = 32 Feet:  $46)
With a full day of sun, these rope lights absorb enough light to stay on for approximately 7 hours. The LEDs are not super bright but they do emit a pleasant soft white glow. The casing is very flexible and easy to maneuver making it easy to attach under railings or along roof lines.

Warranty & Return Policy

SolarChristmasLights.com has a different warranty for each of its brands of Christmas lights. New Ray lights come with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty, starting from the date of purchase. Flipo is only 90 days. Both warranties cover the rechargeable batteries as well.

The SolarChristmasLights.com return policy allows customers to get a full refund within 7 days of product delivery. For instructions on returning the lights or for warranty inquiries email support@solarchristmaslights.com.
